Required Repertoire: Please submit 2 arias in varying style and language, demonstrating the range of your desired roles. Video links (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) are preferred but audio (Soundcloud, etc.) is accepted. Submissions do not need to be of professional recording quality.
For Studio Program details, click here. Studio participants have a core focus of audition preparation and dramatic interpretation in a format independently oriented from the operas.
Successful auditioners will participate in an online video interview. Invitations will be sent by email.
Acceptance to BOA is cast on a rolling basis. The time frame in which you can expect a result will vary. BOA appreciates your patience and requests that you please notify administration of any pressing personal deadlines.

€ 1950: Studio Program Tuition (not including Accommodation)
€ 4950: Festival Singer Tuition
€ 5550: Festival Singer Tuition incl. monthly transit card, SIM card & airport transfer to and from accommodation
Festival singers are those who have been cast in a BOA OpernFest production. Studio singers are those who have been offered a place in either the BOA Studio for Professional Training or the BOA Studio for Vocal Development.
To apply for financial support, please include a brief letter of request at the time of your application. Financial assistance is available in sums ranging from 500-3000 € and BOA offers a limited number of full-tuition fellowships. Please specify exactly the amounts of scholarship for which you are applying.
Please include other sources of financial support, such as crowd-funding, fundraising concerts, fundraising dinners, completed applications for local scholarships, and other means of support. Candidates displaying particular need and demonstrating merit and ability will be considered by the scholarship committee. We have scholarships available for all genders, ages and roles and particularly encourage male singers of merit to apply.
