Jessica Farrell is dedicated to helping young professionals bridge the gap between study and career, guiding them toward stable opportunities in the arts while developing their personal brand and creative strategies for long-term artistic fulfillment. She is passionate about opera education, believing that classical music is an essential part of our cultural fabric—connecting people across time and place, preserving artistic heritage, and fostering creative expression. With a goal of demystifying the path to a sustainable career in the arts, Jessica loves to support emerging artists, helping them navigate their next steps with confidence. She finds great fulfillment in working closely with young artists, understanding their individual aspirations, and empowering them to carve out meaningful artistic careers.
Originally from outside Boston, MA, Jessica holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow and a Bachelor of Arts in Expressive Arts & Performance from Whittier College in Los Angeles, California and completed an ethnomusicological research semester at the School for International Training and the Kwame Nkrumah University in Kumasi, Ghana. During her studies, she fell in love with arts administration and educational development, working with organisations such as the Arts Council of the City of Cambridge, MA, Westbourne Music in Glasgow, UK, the Ruth B. Shannon Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA, and the Development Department of Whittier College, CA.
Since moving to Europe in 2011, she collaborates with musicians in Germany, the UK and the USA, exploring a wide range of vocal and instrumental genres, and enjoys working with the international BOA & SOA communities each summer. She lives in the countryside outside Berlin with her partner and two children.
