Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of one four-month semester, students will be able to:
- Work confidently with conductors and stage directors in rehearsal and onstage, as well as with coaches in the preparation process and orchestra in performance.
- Comprehensively prepare, and perform at a professional level, an operatic role drawing on skills and experiences gained in Korrepetition, Opera Production and Stagecraft for Dynamic Performers.
- Obtain a B1 Level of German Language after 1 semester.
- Obtain a C1 Level of German Language after 2 semesters.
- Maintain a well-rounded vocal technique, with physical coordination and freedom, as well as musical and dramatic expressivity.
- Understand individual areas of strength and promotability, as well as areas of required attention in audition technique and vocal Fach.
- Present a professional audition package based on the German Fach system including dialogue (both live and recorded).
- Audition to enter the job market with a high level of professionalism and self-promotion skills.

- Intensive German Language for Singers 30 CU/week (6 weeks A2 Level, 6 weeks B1 Level)
